Scrutinising Govt’s Dementia strategy on behalf of constituents

This week I have tabled a series of Written Questions to Government on behalf of West Derby constituents and their loved ones affected by dementia.

I have asked the Health Secretary what funding will be available nationally, and to Liverpool, as part of the Government's long-awaited Dementia Strategy.

Dementia is one of the leading causes of death in the UK, with almost one million people currently living with the condition.

It is vital the Government's 10-year plan is ambitious and backed by adequate funding to tangibly reduce the future impact of dementia on people in West Derby, and across the UK.
