I was pleased to support West Derby constituents and PCS union members in Parliament this week by attending a debate secured by Beth Winter MP on the serious issues faced by civil servants after more than eleven years of real terms pay cuts.
The Government’s decade of cuts has left 40,000 civil servants using foodbanks - a shocking indictment of Tory political choices! It is time for the Government to listen to PCS union members and civil servants and urgently increase their pay.
