Video: Education Question on Universal Free School Meals pilot

At Education Questions today, I asked the Minister to work with Liverpool City Council and I to pilot a rollout of Universal Free School Meals for all primary and secondary pupils in Liverpool.

As I told the Minister, this would be a £13 million investment in our children’s future and would ensure all children have the chance to fulfil their potential.

As you can see in the video clip on this page, the Minister’s response was disappointing.
