Speaking up for West Derby’s Kinship families in Parliament

This week in Parliament I spoke up for the 635 children in kinship care in West Derby. Many of our kinship families feel invisible, undervalued, unimportant and ignored by the Government, and three-quarters of kinship carers entered the cost-of-living crisis already in severe financial hardship. I raised the fantastic work of Kinship Carers Liverpool and called on Government to support the changes in law that kinship families urgently need. #KinshipCare
