Notts Forest fans to respect the 97 & show why Real Truth Legacy Project vital

“My son’s 14,” Martin says. “He said to me afterwards, ‘I thought it was because Klopp was a bad loser and they always wanted an excuse if they were losing’. It’s about awareness and, after that, respect for the people who died.”

In a wonderful piece in The Athletic this week, David Taylor reports on why some Nottingham Forest fans will be taking a 30ft ‘no tragedy chanting’ banner to Anfield this weekend - and highlights precisely why our Real Truth Legacy Project is so vitally needed and important.

On Saturday, Forest visit Anfield for the first time in almost 25 years and a banner measuring 30 feet across will be held aloft in the away end. “Respect the 97,” it will say, with Forest’s club badge in one corner and the Hillsborough memorial symbol in the other. “Solidarity with Survivors. No to Tragedy Chanting.”
