Letter to Minister on communities at risk of flooding

Thank you to all West Derby constituents who have been in touch about flooding and the 6 million homes in the UK that are at risk.

I have written to the Secretary of State on your behalf to ask the Government to put the voice of residents and communities at the heart of the current consultation on the National Planning Policy Framework.

I have also asked what the Government will do to future-proof communities such as West Derby from the advancing issue of flooding caused by climate change.
